This will help you light the Gerber Fire Starter, which emits sparks at several thousand degrees Celsius. It consists of a 3CR13 steel flint, a ferrocerium rod and a 100dB whistle. All three parts of the flute are connected by a string. You can even plug the flint and the stick into each other. Then you can safely get the flint soaked to the bone without worrying about starting a fire.
The Gerber Compact Clearpath has a solid rubberized grip that you can also secure with a string in the handle. The blade is made of durable stainless steel and reaches a length of 280 mm. It features not only the typical smooth blade for chopping, but also saw teeth on the opposite side.
With the machete you can also cut through pretty much any smaller fallen tree. In total, the machete is 439 mm long and weighs only 512 g. It also comes in a handy sheath, which you will appreciate especially on longer journeys.
The Gerber Airlift Silver knife is a closing knife for everyday use. In the Overcome set it takes the place of an all-purpose knife that you can use for food preparation, cutting rope or trimming a rod for grilling.
It's biggest advantage is the 5Cr13 steel blade in stone wash with a smooth edge. On both sides of the blade you will find a cap, which makes the knife faster and easier to open. It is suitable for both left-handed and right-handed users. The blade is set in a durable stainless steel handle with a handy pocket clip. The overall length of the knife when open is 177 mm. Safety is ensured by the Frame Lock.
