It has four height-adjustable sections. You can quickly set up the monopod to its maximum height of 179.5 cm. When folded, it is only 62 cm long. It is perfectly suited for observation in difficult-to-access terrain, but also for filming performances directly from within a crowd of spectators.
The lower end has a rubber foot. After unscrewing it, a metal spike appears at the end. You can therefore use the monopod both outdoors and indoors. At the bottom end you will also find a so‑called “step plate” which provides greater stability. Simply fold it down and step on it. This way the monopod is fixed to the surface.
The head of the monopod is operated by a lever. With it you can freely pan with the spotting scope. On the head you will also find a bubble level for balancing the head and a removable quick‑release plate with a 1/4" and 3/8" tripod thread. A carrying case is included.

The monopod leg is well made. The foot is a little less so, because it is not
attached to anything and so it just „floats“ on the pole. What is a tragedy,
however, is the tripod head. I find the stated load capacity quite funny.
I put a 1200g spec weighing 1200g into it and the plastic kept springing under
that weight. So for the purpose of mounting an observing telescope I absolutely
do not recommend it. Maybe a smaller lighter camera, but even there I would be
careful. The head is really made of cheap plastic and looks very fragile. Plus
it doesn't move smoothly at all. Pretty disappointing from the Fomei brand.
