The blade is made of stainless steel 3Cr13MoV, which is known for good corrosion resistance and easy sharpening. The manufacturer uses a drop point profile, which gives the blade a universal character – the tip is controllable enough for more precise work, while the main part of the edge handles common cuts in everyday use very well.
The JKR683 model uses an assisted opening system. After the initial deployment of the blade, the user triggers spring assistance with a short movement, which smoothly guides the blade into the fully open position. This mechanism speeds up and makes one‑handed operation more comfortable.
A linerlock takes care of safe locking in the open position. The flexible inner liner moves under the heel of the blade when opened and prevents it from closing unintentionally.
The handle is made of stainless steel and features a textured surface that improves grip security.
