This gun has a modern side lever, which is very easy to operate. The gun comes as standard with a beautifully engraved stock made of exotic SEPETIA wood. The stock has a thumbhole shape and is suitable for both right-handed and left-handed shooters. The whole stock is finished with a rubber buttpad, which is vertically adjustable. The gun is very well balanced, which allows accurate shooting in all conditions. Windy City is not equipped with open sights.
The built-in pressure gauge located on the underside of the stock allows you to monitor the pressure in the air cylinder. The maximum filling pressure recommended by the manufacturer is 200 bar. The gun is fitted with an 11mm mounting rail. A safety against accidental discharge is of course included.
This air rifle is equipped with a 10-shot magazine for pellets, so you don’t have to worry about reloading after every shot. The trigger is a two-stage type with adjustable pull weight and travel. Evanix guns are characterized by beautiful and precise workmanship and also high reliability. These guns are manufactured for high power outputs of up to around 60 Joules. For our market the power is limited to 16 J.
The rifle is supplied with the new magazines that Evanix has developed for all its rifles. The magazines are always pre‑rotated when inserting the pellets, therefore there is no need for a mechanism to rotate the magazines. A similar system is used by Daystate...
A sound moderator can be purchased for the gun, which will reduce the report to a minimum. An undeniable advantage of the Windy City is the capacity of the air cylinder, which is an impressive 480 cc. Thanks to this capacity you get more full‑power shots.
Practical experience: This gun fits almost everyone’s hand. The workmanship and fit of the individual parts are at a really high level. The stock has beautiful checkering and thanks to the walnut used (sepetia) it looks very refined. I recommend this type of gun to anyone who wants to enjoy shooting and is also attracted by long‑distance shooting.
