The EPIC engineers are now coming with something a bit more classic – the ONE Walnut series with an elegantly shaped walnut stock.
Introducing EPIC ONE – the new icon from the world‑famous company EPIC AIRGUNS based in the Czech Republic. The EPIC team has capitalised on all the experience gained from manufacturing the successful TWO model and transformed it into its compact bullpup successor. High manufacturing quality is evident from every angle – for example, the main monoblock of the air rifle is machined from a single piece of metal on a 5‑axis CNC machine.
This bullpup boasts a new adjustable HIGH-POWER balanced valve, which ensures maximum power with minimal hammer spring tension, making the side lever easier to cock. At the same time, it reduces air wastage and thus increases the shot count per fill. The hammer preload can be adjusted externally via a screw located above the buttpad.
The air cylinder with a maximum working pressure of up to 300 bar (4350 PSI) can be filled using the supplied fill probe with a standard 1/8" diameter compatible with standard quick couplers. The air rifle features 2 gauges – one to show the current pressure in the cylinder, the other for the pressure in the externally adjustable regulator, which can be set using the included tool in the range from 50 to 190 bar (always follow the instructions in the manual).
To achieve even more consistent muzzle velocity, the regulator is complemented by a large power plenum (63cc for the version with 420mm barrel and 95cc for 550mm and 700mm barrels).
EPIC ONE air rifles are fitted with an unchoked CZUB barrel (Česká zbrojovka Uherský Brod) with 12 grooves and a 17.7" twist rate. The barrel is finished with a 1/2UNF thread for mounting a sound moderator. The carbon shroud serves to stiffen the barrel and also allows for barrel pre‑tensioning (harmonic tuning).
Air rifles with 420mm and 550mm barrels are additionally equipped with an integrated K‑Baffle sound moderator, also ending in a 1/2UNF thread.
On the 700mm barrel version, after unscrewing the segment with the 1/2UNF thread and exposing the M27x1 thread, it is compatible with the EPIC AIRGUNS sound moderator or with a muzzle brake.
Thanks to the barrel kit you can freely change the barrel length and the overall calibre of the air rifle. The set includes everything you need (barrel, carbon shroud with M27x1 thread, 1/2UNF moderator adapter, 1/2UNF thread protector, transfer port and loading probe).
For the very best results with heavy pellets and slugs, there is also a barrel kit available with an unchoked polygonal Lothar Walther barrel (6 grooves, 17.7" twist).
The ONE series is equipped with a new pre‑tensioned magazine with magnetically closing cover. To load it, simply rotate the inner part and insert the first round, which locks the rotary mechanism. Thanks to its compact dimensions, the magazine does not interfere with the overall appearance of the air rifle and does not get in the way when handling it. In addition, it accommodates projectiles up to 14mm long.
Thanks to clever bullpup engineering, the ONE model offers exceptionally compact dimensions while the air rifle remains perfectly balanced. For proper shouldering there is a rubberised cheek piece that can be freely moved along the 11mm dovetail running along the entire main block of the air rifle. The raised Picatinny rail with up to 30 MOA incline is also movable and makes it easier to zero your scope for shooting at extreme distances.
Instead of an adjustable aluminium buttpad, the Walnut series boasts a walnut stock made by the renowned Czech company KLINSKY, finished down to the smallest detail. The selected wood has a unique grain pattern, which makes every air rifle a one‑of‑a‑kind piece. If you already own the standard EPIC ONE version, you can purchase the wooden stock separately here.
You can also purchase the Top Rail EPIC ONE – a tuning Picatinny rail with several M‑LOK slots on the sides, or an Arca‑Swiss mounting platform for the versions with 580cc and 300cc carbon cylinders.
To mount additional accessories you can use two short Anschütz UIT rails on the sides of the barrel.
Trigger mechanism has been fine‑tuned in every detail. Using several screws, you can adjust the trigger pull weight, first and second stage travel, as well as the height and rotation of the trigger blade. The reliable lever safety is located directly in front of the trigger, so you do not need to take your eyes off the target when disengaging the safety. The easily reversible side lever with an extremely smooth action is already a matter of course on EPIC air rifles.
