The EPIC team has capitalised on all the experience gained from producing the successful TWO model and transformed it into its compact bullpup successor. The high manufacturing quality is evident from every angle – for example, the main airgun monoblock is machined from a single piece of metal on a 5‑axis CNC machine.
This bullpup boasts a new adjustable HIGH-POWER balanced valve that ensures maximum performance with minimal hammer spring tension, making it easier to cock the side lever. At the same time it reduces air wastage and thus increases the shot count per fill. The hammer preload can be adjusted externally via a screw located above the buttpad.
The air cylinder with a maximum working pressure of up to 300 bar (4350 PSI) can be filled using the supplied fill probe with a standard 1/8" diameter compatible with a standard quick coupler. The airgun is equipped with 2 gauges – one to indicate the current pressure in the cylinder, the other for the pressure in the externally adjustable regulator, which can be set with the included tool in the range from 50 to 190 bar (always follow the instructions in the manual).
To achieve an even more consistent muzzle velocity, the regulator is complemented by a large power plenum (63cc on the version with 420mm barrel and 95cc on the 550mm and 700mm barrels).
EPIC ONE airguns are fitted with an unchoked CZUB barrel (Česká zbrojovka Uherský Brod) with 12 grooves and a 17.7" twist rate. The muzzle end is equipped with a 1/2UNF thread for mounting a sound moderator. The carbon shroud serves to stiffen the barrel and at the same time allows barrel pre‑tensioning (harmonic tuning).
Airguns with 420mm and 550mm barrel length are additionally fitted with an integrated K‑Baffle type sound moderator, also ending with a 1/2UNF thread.
On the 700mm barrel version, after unscrewing the segment with the 1/2UNF thread and exposing the M27x1 thread, it is compatible with the EPIC AIRGUNS sound moderator or with the muzzle brake.
Thanks to the barrel kit you can freely change the barrel length and the overall calibre of the airgun. The set includes everything you need (barrel, carbon shroud with M27x1 thread, 1/2UNF moderator adapter, 1/2UNF thread protector, transfer port and probe).
To achieve the best results with heavy pellets and slugs, a barrel kit with an unchoked polygonal Lothar Walther barrel (6 grooves with a 17.7" twist) is also available.
The ONE series is equipped with a new pre‑tensioned magazine with a magnetically closing lid. To load it, simply rotate the inner part and insert the first round, which locks the rotating mechanism. Thanks to its compact dimensions, the magazine does not disrupt the overall look of the airgun and does not interfere with handling. In addition, it holds projectiles up to 14mm long.
Thanks to its clever bullpup design, the ONE model offers exceptionally compact dimensions while the airgun remains perfectly balanced. For maximum shooting comfort, the stock is equipped with a length‑adjustable buttpad with a textured contact surface and a QD mount for a sling. The Bag Rider shown in the pictures is not included.
For proper eye alignment there is a rubberised cheekpiece that can be moved freely along the 11mm dovetail running across the entire main block of the airgun. The same applies to the elevated Picatinny rail with a 30 MOA incline, which makes scope adjustment easier for shooting at extreme distances.
You can also purchase the Top Rail EPIC ONE – a tuning Picatinny rail with several M‑LOK slots on the sides, or an Arca‑Swiss mounting platform for versions with a 580cc and 300cc carbon bottle.
To attach additional accessories you can use two short Anschütz UIT rails on the sides of the barrel or the series of M‑LOK slots located between the buttpad and the standard AR-15 type grip.
The trigger mechanism has been fine‑tuned down to the smallest detail. Using several screws you can adjust the trigger pull weight, first and second stage travel, as well as the height and rotation of the trigger blade. The reliable lever safety is located just in front of the trigger, so you do not have to take your eyes off the target when disengaging it. The easily reversible side lever with an extremely smooth action is already a matter of course on EPIC airguns.
