The EPIC team has drawn on all the experience gained from producing the successful TWO model and transformed it into its compact bullpup successor. The high manufacturing quality is evident from every angle – for example, the main monoblock of the air rifle is machined from a single piece of metal on a 5‑axis CNC machine.
This bullpup boasts a new adjustable HIGH-POWER balanced valve which guarantees maximum performance with minimal hammer spring tension, making it easier to cock the side lever. At the same time it reduces air waste and thus increases the shot count per fill. Hammer preload can be adjusted externally using the screw located above the butt pad.
The air cylinder with a maximum working pressure of up to 300 bar (4350 PSI) can be filled using the supplied filling pin with a standard 1/8" diameter compatible with a standard quick coupler. The air rifle is equipped with 2 manometers – one indicates the current pressure in the cylinder, the other shows the pressure in the externally adjustable regulator, which can be set with the included tool in the range from 50 to 190 bar (always follow the instructions in the manual).
To achieve even more consistent muzzle velocity, the regulator is complemented by a large power plenum (63cc for the 420mm barrel version and 95cc for the 550mm and 700mm barrel versions).
EPIC ONE air rifles are fitted with a non‑choked CZUB barrel (Česká zbrojovka Uherský Brod) with 12 grooves and a 17.7” twist rate. The barrel end is equipped with a 1/2UNF thread for mounting a sound moderator. The carbon shroud serves to stiffen the barrel and also allows barrel pre‑tensioning (harmonic tuning).
Air rifles with 420mm and 550mm barrel length are additionally fitted with an integrated K‑Baffle type sound moderator, which is also finished with a 1/2UNF thread.
On the 700mm barrel version, after unscrewing the segment with the 1/2UNF thread and exposing the M27x1 thread, it becomes compatible with the EPIC AIRGUNS sound moderator or with a muzzle brake.
Thanks to the barrel kit, you can freely change the barrel length and the overall calibre of the air rifle. The set includes everything you need (barrel, carbon shroud with M27x1 thread, 1/2UNF moderator adapter, 1/2UNF thread protector, transfer port and loading probe).
For the very best results with heavy pellets and slugs, a barrel kit with a non‑choked polygonal Lothar Walther barrel is also available (6 grooves with a 17.7" twist rate).
The ONE series is equipped with a new pre‑tensioned magazine system with a magnetically closing cover. To load it, simply rotate the inner part and insert the first round, which locks the rotating mechanism. Thanks to its compact dimensions, the magazine does not disturb the overall appearance of the air rifle and does not get in the way when handling. In addition, it holds projectiles up to 14mm long.
Thanks to a smart bullpup layout, the ONE model achieves exceptionally compact dimensions while the air rifle remains perfectly balanced. For maximum shooting comfort, the stock is equipped with a length‑adjustable butt pad with a textured contact surface and a QD sling swivel mount. The Bag Rider shown in the photos is not included.
A rubberised cheek rest is used for proper eye alignment and can be freely moved along the 11mm dovetail rail running along the entire main block of the air rifle. The same applies to the elevated Picatinny rail canted by up to 30 MOA, which makes scope adjustment easier for shooting at the longest distances.
You can also purchase the Top Rail EPIC ONE – a tuning Picatinny rail with a number of M‑LOK slots on the sides, or an Arca‑Swiss mounting platform for versions with a 580cc and 300cc carbon bottle.
To attach additional accessories, you can use the two short Anschütz UIT rails on the sides of the barrel or the series of M‑LOK slots located between the butt pad and the standard AR-15 type grip.
The trigger mechanism has been fine‑tuned down to the smallest detail. Using several screws, you can adjust the trigger pull weight, the travel of the first and second stage, as well as the height and rotation of the trigger blade. The reliable lever‑type safety is located right in front of the trigger, so you do not have to take your eyes off the target when switching the rifle to fire. The easily reversible side lever with an extremely smooth action is already a matter of course on EPIC air rifles.
