The EPIC team has put to use all experience gained from producing the successful TWO model and transformed it into its compact bullpup successor. High manufacturing quality is evident from every angle – for example, the main monoblock of the airgun is machined from a single piece of metal on a 5‑axis CNC machine.
This bullpup boasts a new adjustable HIGH-POWER balanced valve that ensures maximum power is achieved with minimal hammer spring tension, making it easier to cock the side lever. At the same time it reduces air waste and thus increases the shot count per fill. Hammer preload can be adjusted externally using a screw located above the buttpad.
The air cylinder with a maximum working pressure of up to 300 bar (4350 PSI) can be filled using the supplied fill probe with a standard 1/8" diameter compatible with standard quick couplers. The air rifle is equipped with 2 manometers – one indicates the current pressure in the cylinder, the other shows the pressure in the externally adjustable regulator, which can be set with the supplied tool within a range of from 50 to 190 bar (always follow the instructions in the manual).
To achieve even more consistent muzzle velocity, the regulator is complemented by a large power plenum (63cc for the version with 420mm barrel and 95cc for 550mm and 700mm barrels).
EPIC ONE air rifles are fitted with an unchoked CZUB barrel (Česká zbrojovka Uherský Brod) with 12 grooves and a 17.7" twist rate. The muzzle end is equipped with a 1/2UNF thread for mounting a sound moderator. The carbon shroud serves to stiffen the barrel and at the same time allows barrel pre‑tensioning (harmonic tuning).
Air rifles with barrel lengths of 420mm and 550mm are additionally fitted with an integrated K‑Baffle sound moderator, also ending with a 1/2UNF thread.
On the version with a 700mm barrel, after unscrewing the segment with the 1/2UNF thread and exposing the M27x1 thread, it is compatible with the EPIC AIRGUNS sound moderator or with a muzzle brake.
Thanks to the barrel kit, you can freely change the barrel length and the overall calibre of the air rifle. The set includes everything you need (barrel, carbon shroud with M27x1 thread, 1/2UNF moderator adapter, 1/2UNF thread protector, transfer port and probe).
For the very best results with heavy pellets and slugs, a barrel kit is also available with an unchoked polygonal Lothar Walther barrel (6 grooves with a 17.7" twist rate).
The ONE series is equipped with a new pre‑loaded magazine with a magnetically closed cover. To load it, simply rotate the inner part and insert the first round, which locks the rotating mechanism. Thanks to its compact dimensions, the magazine does not disturb the overall appearance of the air rifle and does not get in the way when handling it. In addition, it holds projectiles up to 14mm in length.
Thanks to the clever bullpup design, the ONE model achieves exceptionally compact dimensions while the air rifle remains perfectly balanced. For maximum shooting comfort the stock is equipped with a length‑adjustable buttpad with a textured contact surface and a QD sling swivel mount. The Bag Rider shown in the photos is not included.
A rubberised cheekpiece, which can be freely moved along the 11mm dovetail running along the entire main block of the air rifle, provides proper eye alignment. The same applies to the adjustable Picatinny rail inclined by up to 30 MOA, making scope adjustment easier for shooting at extreme distances.
You can also purchase the Top Rail EPIC ONE – a tuning Picatinny rail with a number of M‑LOK slots on the sides, or an Arca‑Swiss mounting platform for versions with a 580cc and 300cc carbon bottle.
To attach additional accessories you can use two short Anschütz UIT rails on the sides of the barrel, or the series of M‑LOK slots located between the buttpad and the standard AR-15 type grip.
The trigger mechanism has been fine‑tuned down to the smallest detail. Using several screws you can adjust the trigger pull weight, the travel of the first and second stage, and the height and rotation of the trigger blade. The reliable lever safety is located directly in front of the trigger, so you do not have to take your eyes off the target when disengaging it. The easily reversible side lever with an extremely smooth action is already a given on EPIC air rifles.
