Mikov Predator Hammer 241-ND-1 is an automatic switchblade knife. If it looks familiar, you are a truly loyal James Bond fan. James Bond drove it into Dimitrios’s body in the 2006 movie Casino Royale. The Hollywood creators once again let themselves be carried away by the knife’s elegant appearance and its very impressive opening.
The knife has a blade of the Spear Point type made of stainless steel 420, but unlike a typical Spear Point blade, it has one false edge and one plain edge. Thanks to this, the knife closes noticeably more easily, making it more suitable for everyday use than for standard self-defence. Thanks to the high-quality leather sheath with belt clip you can truly carry it at hand every day.
The blade is set in an ergonomically shaped wooden handle, at the end of which you will find robust fittings. Thanks to this it earned the name Hammer. For the handle, Mikov used exotic rosewood, which makes it a rarity among both Czech and global knives.
Blade deployment is controlled by a folding lever in the upper part of the handle. You just flip it away from the handle and press. The blade then shoots out very quickly. The lever further serves as a lock. Without pressing it, you cannot close the blade.
