Spring air rifles are simple to use. Just cock the rifle, insert a pellet,
release the safety and shoot. Even a child can handle it. The biggest advantage
of spring-powered air rifles is their low price. You don’t need much equipment
to start shooting. A tin of pellets and a cleaning kit is enough. Those who
want to shoot at longer distances will also go for a riflescope.
The air rifle Raven cal. 4.5mm is mainly intended for beginner shooters. The stock of this gun is made of polymer. The fully adjustable rear sight allows you to use the Crosman Raven for target shooting. The air rifle is also equipped with a dovetail rail for mounting optics and Tru-Glo fibre optic sights.
Tru-Glo is the name of a fibre optic system installed in the sights (the name comes from the English words True and Glow). These are special fibre optic rods that collect ambient light and concentrate it into a single point, which then appears as if it were illuminated by its own light source.
Practical experience: A lightweight air rifle suitable for beginners or for teaching children to shoot. An advantage is the ergonomically shaped polymer stock.
