I definitely wanted to try the rifle because I was very interested in it.
I didn't want a pellet rifle and this one shoots by pumping the forearm. My
first impression of it was a little embarrassed because the plastic parts make
it feel more like a plastic toy. Also, some of the moving parts either don't
stay in position or are difficult to move one way, which I hope will be fixed.
I was a bit disconcerted that to fire once, I have to pump at least ten times
and then again the next time I fire. I find that more effective with a
conventional break-action air rifle, which I didn't want in this case because
I wanted an air rifle for the kids. But I won't be discouraged by first
impressions, and I believe we will eventually find common ground with the air
rifle. I don't recommend this product in general, as I would recommend getting
somewhere physical and trying it out before buying it and only then deciding if
it suits me.
