Unfortunately , I had to discontinue use of the Crosman P1 , which I am
generally happy with. The firing pin clamping screw has failed – it can no
longer be released – the Allen screw is rotated .The whole screw is blocked
in the thread and the firing pin cannot be removed. On further investigation
I found that the plastic part has a washer as we normally know it under screw
heads etc., with an Allen hole , but- what is important- with a smooth edge . It
can therefore not bear the torque and it is rotating in the plastic. So I'm
waiting for a new magazine of course- probably with the same feature …
