New videos and reviews every day 6000+ reviews from our customers The American company Crosman produces PCP air rifles under the Benjamin brand, which are characterised by high quality, and Akela is of course no exception. The bullpup design of the rifle allows it to have a full‑length barrel while still retaining relatively compact dimensions.
The most striking feature is undoubtedly the beautiful Turkish walnut stock. The anatomically shaped pistol grip fits the hand perfectly and thanks to its textured surface it will not slip out under any circumstances. The rubber butt pad increases comfort when aiming and shooting. The synthetic cheekpiece is height adjustable and you can even easily move it forwards or backwards.
Shrouded barrel is choked and its overall length is 508 mm. The side lever is located on the right side of the action and close to it you will find a power adjustment screw. To increase muzzle energy, simply turn the screw clockwise. Turning it in the opposite direction will reduce the overall power.
The air cylinder has a capacity of 280 cc and a maximum filling pressure of 200 Bar. A clear pressure gauge on the right side of the rifle is used to monitor the pressure in the cylinder. The cylinder is filled from the front; you only need to pull back the protective cap.
Picatinny rail on the top of the rifle allows you to mount a scope. The package also includes an additional rail for attaching a bipod. You only need to screw it into the thread on the fore-end. The trigger is adjustable and in the trigger guard there is also a manual safety.
The rifle is equipped with a filling pin for quick-coupler connection.
