This type of machete is based on Japanese fighting swords katana. It resembles them in both appearance and function, but it is shorter. It will become very popular not only with outdoor enthusiasts and travellers to exotic countries. You will make use of it here as well. Cutting your way through hard-to-access terrain is not as easy as it seems.
The machete has a Tanto blade profile. Thanks to the curved blade shape and its now legendary design, it will look great as a display piece, which you can still use for classic chopping. The 457 mm long blade is made of 1055 high carbon tool steel. Thanks to this, it is very strong and not easily damaged. You also don’t have to be afraid of rust. The blade has a black anti-corrosion finish.
The handle is made of polypropylene and provides the weapon with very solid support. Compared to katana swords, this handle is noticeably more resistant to abrasion and other influences. In appearance, however, it imitates a handle with wrap and guard. The machete is supplied including a reinforced Cor-Ex sheath. Thanks to this, you can always have it at hand.
