This type of machete is used throughout the whole of Africa, where it serves both for harvesting agricultural crops and for hunting or combat. Cutting your way through hard-to-reach terrain is not as easy as it seems.
The machete has a blade profile in the Panga shape. Thanks to the curved shape of the blade and the very thick and wide tip, you will mainly use it for chopping. It is also suitable for work in dense vegetation. Its balance point is moved closer to the tip. This saves you effort. The blade length 457 mm is made from 1055 high carbon tool steel. Thanks to this, it is very strong and not easily damaged. You also do not have to worry about rust. The blade has a black anti-corrosion coating.
The handle is made of polypropylene and provides the tool with very good support. The machete is supplied including a reinforced Cor-Ex sheath with a belt loop for carrying on the belt. This way you can always have it at hand.
