PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Adventure Menu Lightweight is a product line of dried foods from 100% natural ingredients coming from the Czech producer Adventure Menu. With the Lightweight range you save up to 80% weight and 30% energy. Just add water to these products up to the crease inside the bag and wait for them to rehydrate. Then you just heat them up in a pot or self-heating system and you have food on the go just like home (and often better).
Chilli con Carne is a spicy dish that any proper cowboy will appreciate. It's a very tasty and filling meal that will warm you up and replenish the nutrients you need on the go. There's nothing like having a full main meal on a mountain ridge or on a multi-day backcountry trip, especially without the hassle of making a fire and cooking. Adventure Menu has done the almost impossible and added another piece to the Czech MRE (Meal, Ready-to-Eat).
The dish contains 25% sterilized beans, 20% ground beef, 15% chopped tomatoes, 15% beef broth, onions, peppers, sterilized corn, canola oil, chili powder, garlic, cumin and sweet paprika. In total, inside you'll find 4.3% fat, 0.5% saturated fat, 9% protein, 12% carbohydrates, 0.6% sugars and only 0.4% salt. Total of 488 kcal (2032 kJ).
The package measures 21 x 18 x 5 cm and weighs only 120 g. Inside you will find 105 g of food. After topping the food, you then get one full serving. The total weight of the meal will then be 400 g. This pack has a durability of up to 5 years.
