Chilli con Carne Adventure Menu Lightweight

Adventure Menu Lightweight is a product line of dehydrated meals made from 100% natural ingredients from the Czech manufacturer Adventure Menu. With the Lightweight range you can save up to 80% of weight and 30% of energy. To prepare these products, you only need to add water up to the fill line inside the pouch and wait until they rehydrate again. Then you simply heat them up in a pot or in a self-heating system and you have a meal for your trips just like at home (and often even better).

Chilli con Carne is a spicy dish that every proper cowboy will appreciate. It is a very tasty and filling meal that will warm you up and replenish the necessary nutrients while travelling. There is nothing like having a full main course on a mountain ridge or on a multi-day trip in nature, especially without the hassle of making a fire and cooking. Adventure Menu has achieved the almost impossible and expanded the Czech MRE (Meal, Ready-to-Eat) with another option.

The meal contains 25% sterilised beans, 20% minced beef, 15% chopped tomatoes, 15% beef broth, onion, bell pepper, sterilised corn, rapeseed oil, chilli, garlic, cumin and sweet paprika. In total you will find 4.3% fat, 0.5% saturated fat, 9% protein, 12% carbohydrates, 0.6% sugars and only 0.4% salt. Altogether it provides you with 488 kcal (2032 kJ).

The pack measures 21 x 18 x 5 cm and weighs only 120 g. Inside you will find 105 g of food. After adding water you get one full portion. The total weight of the prepared meal will then be 400 g. This pack has a shelf life of up to 5 years.
