The Bushnell brand has been one of the leading optics manufacturers in the USA for more than 65 years, with the constant goal of offering reliable yet affordable optics. The NITRO riflescope series offers attractively priced models that take into account the needs of European shooters.
The Bushnell 3-18x56 Nitro riflescope is ideal for precision shooting at medium and long distances. Its robust body with a 30mm tube meeting IPX7 protection does not exceed a weight of 686 grams. Inside, it houses optics with multi-coated ED Prime lenses guaranteeing up to 92% light transmission, so the riflescope can easily cope with conditions at dusk or dawn. In addition, the anti-reflective coating provides an absolutely clear image without glare, and EXO-BarrierTM Bushnell repels water, oil, dust, and also prevents scratching.
The 4A reticle is located in the second focal plane, with only the central dot illuminated, and that in 6 levels. Power is supplied by a single CR2032 battery.
The riflescope has adjustable parallax from 10 yd (9.14 m) to infinity. The range of windage and elevation adjustment is 60 MOA. One click corresponds to 1/4 MOA, i.e. a shift of the point of impact by 1 cm at a distance of 100 yd (91.4 m).
The windage and elevation turrets are capped, so the cap must be unscrewed before adjustment. Each movement of the turret is accompanied by a distinct click. An advantage is the quick zero-reset function for the elevation setting.
The variable magnification setting of 3-18x is located on the objective in the form of a rotating ring with a thumb rest.
