It forms a compact film that protects against moisture and aggressive influences, such as acidic atmosphere and combustion fumes. It reliably protects against corrosion for up to 12–18 months. This oil displaces water and has excellent adhesion.
Brunox does not contain any silicone, PTFE or graphite. It therefore does not damage paint, leather, wood, rubber or plastics. Heat resistance up to 100°C in continuous use, or up to 150°C in short-term use.
