The knives were created on the basis of many research projects, laboratory tests and the experience of hunters. They are made from technologically advanced materials. All this means that Hunt knives are suitable for field dressing and skinning game. They can also handle any type of wood.
The Skinner 15080-2 knife is a classic, fully functional hunting knife that should not be missing from the gear of backpackers and anyone who spends time in nature.
The Benchmade HUNT 15080-2 model is equipped with a folding blade which, thanks to its traditional and functional edge geometry, proves itself not only as the basic cutting tool of every hunter. The partially flat-ground edge with a length of 100 mm guarantees good cutting performance and durability. The steel blade is hardened to a hardness of 58–60 HRC. As a result, the blade surface is easy to sharpen and retains its sharpness for a long time.
The ergonomically shaped handle consists of wooden scales and aluminium bolsters. The construction is reinforced with steel liners. The profile of the scales improves the grip. At the end of the handle there is a lanyard hole. The back side is equipped with a clip that allows the knife to be attached to a belt.
Safety is ensured by the proven axislock locking mechanism. The blocking element of the lock is a pin that slides into a cut-out in the blade. The lock is easy to operate even with the left hand. The sophisticated system allows the blade to be deployed quickly.
