Heavier projectiles require higher twist and when fired from a standard barrel they can cause it to oscillate, which is why this barrel kit is supplied with a Superior Heavy Liner insert, which is stronger and stiffer compared to the original and significantly reduces barrel oscillation.
The FX Impact Tensioned barrel kit allows installation of a moderator directly on the barrel muzzle with a 1/2 UNF thread.
