The MOJO Hawk Balaban is the ideal tool for baiting foxes and other predators. Simply place the Balaban over the Balaban Creature, or other similar bait, and let the predator know via electronic call that the Hawk has found the wounded prey it is about to deal with. So if the predator wants easy prey, he must hurry.
Predators tend to stay within a few feet of their prey, then circle downwind to attack undetected. The noise of wounded prey adds to the realism of the trap and draws the predator's attention to the prey. The predator then doesn't pay attention and often overlooks you as the hunter, especially if the sounds come directly from the trap. If a predator thinks it has to hurry or it won't get at it, it won't circle downwind around its prey to avoid losing precious time. This also makes it less likely to pick up your scent.
Beasts often find their prey by watching birds of prey. It's very easy to find injured prey from above. Thanks to predators, predators can get easy prey.
