It is suitable for chopping wood, splitting smaller logs, as well as more precise tasks such as rough wood shaping and carving.
The AX5 axe is built around a robust hand-forged head made from high-carbon 1066 steel with a hardness of 56–58 HRC, offering high durability and reliably long-lasting performance. The head features a wide profile and a slightly curved 150 mm cutting edge, whose convex grind allows deep and smooth penetration into wood.
The distinctively long handle, measuring 77 cm, is made from durable ash wood and provides a comfortable, secure grip during swings thanks to its ample length. The handle surface is treated with linseed oil and wax, which help protect the wood and extend its service life.
