New videos and reviews every day 6000+ reviews from our customers Umarex Zelos is a powerful PCP air rifle particularly suitable for precise target shooting at longer distances. Thanks to its good combination of features such as a high-capacity magazine, suppressor thread, compact dimensions and simple operation, this air rifle is also ideal for recreational backyard plinking or hunting small pests.
The rifled barrel has an impressive length of 610 mm and is finished with an integrated sound moderator. However, the air rifle still retains a compact overall length of just 926 mm thanks to its bullpup design, with the barrel starting beneath the cheekpiece. The barrel is shrouded along its entire length and features a 1/2″-20 UNF thread at the muzzle for the installation of an external sound moderator if required.
This air rifle is equipped with an aluminium air cylinder with a capacity of 255 cc and a maximum filling pressure of 250 bar (3625 psi). A major advantage is the pressure regulator, which ensures consistent muzzle velocity. The current pressure is indicated by 2 pressure gauges – one showing the pressure in the air cylinder and the other the regulator pressure. The air rifle can be filled through a standard quick-connect adapter concealed at the end of the air cylinder.
Please note that the regulator on this version does not offer external adjustment!
The side-lever cocking handle with an exceptionally smooth action is fixed on the right side, as is the rotating manual safety. The two-stage trigger allows adjustment of the trigger blade height and rotation, while removing the trigger mechanism cover also allows the trigger travel length to be adjusted.
The main body of the rifle, upper Picatinny rail and barrel shroud are made from black anodised aluminium. These are complemented by polymer components such as the trigger mechanism cover, fixed cheekpiece and lower Picatinny rail for mounting a bipod or other accessories. The comfortable rubber butt pad is height-adjustable, and the manufacturer has also chosen a rubberised AR-15-style grip, allowing you to replace it with another one at any time.
