Historical original
Winchester Model 1873 was an American lever-action repeating rifle introduced in 1873. It was manufactured as both a rifle and a carbine and was used in several calibres, including .44-40, .38-40 and .32-20. Its design followed the earlier Henry rifles and Winchester Model 1866, and more than 720,000 units were produced during approximately fifty years of production.
