Value pack of 2 travel water filters from the American manufacturer Sawyer. This set contains a blue and an orange filter.

Sawyer SP128 Mini is a practical and lightweight filtration system with an enormous service life. The manufacturer guarantees it can filter up to 100,000 gallons of water, which is over 378,000 litres in the metric system.

The package of this water filter includes a rubber tube for drawing water from a stream, a plastic water pouch and a syringe for cleaning the filter. The filter itself weighs only 65 g, so you can always have it at hand. On one side, the filter has a covered mouthpiece from which you can drink or fill water bottles. On the other side of the filter there is an inlet opening where you can attach either the rubber tube, the included bottle, or any PET bottle with water.

Then you just need to drink the water. There is nothing complicated hidden in the filter. The PointONE technology used by the Sawyer water filter has an absolute pore size of 0.1 micron. Thanks to this, it removes 99.99999% of all harmful bacteria such as salmonella, cholera, E. coli. We recommend filtering only water without solid particles such as sand or mud. Otherwise, the filter would clog unnecessarily and you would have to clean it more often.

Its only potential weakness is its sensitivity to frost. If the filter is wet and freezes, it may crack or otherwise get damaged. In that case, we do not recommend using it any further.
