The Venox Kratos Air CS4-I high-powered four-step compressor will allow you to become completely independent in filling your PCP airguns and high-capacity air tanks.
The filling pressure of PCP airguns has been steadily increasing over the years - which is why this compressor, with a maximum filling pressure of up to 400 bar (5800psi), will last you for a really long time. What's more, it can fill air tanks with a maximum capacity of up to 6.8 litres (6800cc). Naturally, it features an AutoStop function (automatic shutdown upon reaching a preset pressure via a dial on the pressure gauge) and the unit is cooled by both air and distilled water. The noise level ranges within 65-70dB.
A 480cc (0.48 litre) cartridge can be filled from 0 to 300 bar in 13 minutes and from 150 to 300 bar in just 5 minutes.
To power the device, you can either plug it into a 220V/110V power supply or a 12V car battery via the included cables. Besides these, the package also includes a power cord (EU type), high pressure hose with a two classic quick couplers at both ends, a set of wrenches, springs, o-rings, and pressure safety rupture discs (burst discs).

The only thing you need to pay attention to with this compressor is the initial commissioning procedure. First, you need to add 500ml of distilled water to the top reservoir (if the compressor already contains some distilled water, just add more) and turn the unit on (NOT THE FILLING MODE) which starts the water pump. Note, to successfully remove all the air from the water cooling system, you will have to turn the compressor off and on several times (red switch only, not the filling process) before the pump starts drawing water. During the process, distilled water will be drained from the reservoir into the cooling system, so you'll need to continuously add distilled water to the specified level until the level stabilizes (and the water begins to flow from the valve back into the reservoir). Then launch the filling mode for about 10-20 minutes. Afterwards, unplug the unit, empty the entire reservoir and refill it with clean distilled water. It is also recommended to lubricate the device for the first time no sooner than after 6 hours of operation by turning the lubrication knob on the top of the device by one turn (360°). Earlier lubrication may result in reduced performance and thus slower filling. More grease can be purchased here.
Important: You will need to purchase an additional external filter, which captures the remaining condensed water in the hose. The original filter has been tested in conditions with minimal humidity and may not be sufficient for the conditions in your location. Always connect the hose with the original and external filter towards the airgun.
If you are using a fill probe with the 1/8" BSP thread, you are going to need this male adapter.
Remember, the maximum recommended time per filling cycle is 300 minutes (5 hours) to prevent overheating and irreversible damage to the compressor. Therefore, high capacity air cartridges may require multiple filling cycles.
For better visibility into the distilled water tank, you can easily remove the inner metal plate from the lid using a pair of pliers (see below). This step does not void the warranty.
BEWARE! With some airguns, you may not be able to fill them from zero - the compressor might not surpass the initial pressure of the valve. In this case, we recommend filling the airgun at least partially from a high-pressure bottle.
BEWARE! Do not fill the water tank above the side valve near the top cover! The water level must be below the side valve so that you can see the water flowing from the valve into the tank. See photo below.
