The Zalem riflescope series from Vector Optics has been primarily designed for precision long‑range shooting. Thanks to its specifications, these scopes will help you achieve satisfying results even at extreme distances.
The 6061 T6 aircraft‑grade aluminium tube has a diameter of 35 mm and is filled with nitrogen, which prevents the lenses from fogging during sudden temperature changes. This model is also resistant to shock and water ingress.
The optical system uses lenses made of ED glass with a fully multi‑coated surface (FMC = Fully Multi‑coated), which ensures high final image quality. The wide tube together with the huge 65 mm objective lens guarantees good light transmission even at dusk.
The lockable adjustment turrets are resettable. Before making elevation or windage corrections, you need to pull the turrets up. The value of one click is 1/8 MOA.
On the left turret you can adjust the parallax, which is adjustable from 20 yards (18.3 m) to infinity. You can also adjust the reticle illumination level here. You can choose from a total of 11 brightness levels. The illumination is powered by a single CR2032 lithium battery (not included), which only needs to be inserted into the left turret.
The VET-L338 reticle is etched directly into the lens glass and can withstand recoil energy up to 6000 J. The crosshair is clearly visible and is located in the second focal plane, so the selected magnification does not affect its size.
The package includes a two‑piece Picatinny rail mount, sunshade, throw lever for magnification adjustment, lens caps and a cleaning cloth for the optics.
This model can withstand 1200 g (unit of gravitational acceleration), which is equivalent to the recoil of firearms chambered in .50 BMG.
