The tube itself is filled with nitrogen and is manufactured from a single piece of aircraft aluminum. The optics are therefore fog-free, waterproof and can withstand the recoil of powerful hunting calibers.
The low-profile turrets are lockable and must be raised before correction. The value of one click is 1/10 MRAD. Parallax correction is adjustable from 10 yards (9.14 m) to infinity.
The MPN-1 tactical reticle is located in the second focal plane, so adjusting the magnification does not change its size. The crosshair is etched directly into the lens glass, which adds to the overall durability of the riflescope.
This model is able to withstand 750 g (unit of gravitational acceleration), which is equivalent to the recoil of .223 and .308 caliber firearms.
