The Vector Optics Frenzy-X 1x20x28 6 MOA Red Dot reflex sight is a compact open red dot sight designed for fast and intuitive aiming at short and medium distances. Thanks to the 6 MOA red dot, it is ideal for dynamic shooting where fast target acquisition and an unobstructed field of view are a priority.
Features and characteristics
This open reflex sight belongs to the Frenzy-X series, which at Vector Optics is focused on low weight, durability, and quick deployment on handguns as well as rifles. The open reflex construction provides a wide field of view and allows the shooter to monitor what is happening around the target without a disturbing tunnel effect, which is an advantage during dynamic movement or when engaging multiple targets.
The Vector Optics Frenzy-X 1x20x28 6 MOA Red Dot uses a red aiming dot with a size of 6 MOA, which is easily visible both indoors and outdoors. The dot intensity can be adjusted in several steps of brightness settings (8 daylight and 2 for night vision), so the shooter can easily adapt the sight to the current light conditions.
The housing of the sight is made from durable 6061-T6 aluminum alloy and treated with a surface finish for increased resistance to scratches and weather conditions. This is confirmed by the IPX6 rating. The sight is therefore suitable not only for airguns, but also for rimfire firearms and even for .308 and .223 calibers.
The Frenzy-X 1x20x28 6 MOA Red Dot model uses 1× non-magnifying optics, so the image is not enlarged and aiming is done with both eyes open. This ensures natural spatial perception and speeds up transitions between targets.
Mounting the Vector Optics Frenzy-X reflex sight is solved in two ways – with a low-profile TEK platform compatible with the Docter / Noblex® mounting standard, and there is also an adapter for a standard Picatinny / Weaver rail. Thanks to this, it can be used on a wide range of platforms – from handguns through PCC to standard rifle systems. Windage and elevation adjustments are made via fine clicks, allowing precise zeroing at the desired distance.
Power is supplied by a coin-type CR2032 battery (not included).
