Why did I get a telescope? Because I was looking with my older 10×50 This Russian made binoculars from the 80's into the landscape and I was not very happy with the image quality. After all, the image quality is nowadays elsewhere thanks to new and modern technologies. Last but not least, my son and I like to go hiking and we usually don't want to carry heavy older binoculars, so we chose the Forester 8×42 and hope we won't be disappointed.. :))

  • lightweight robust quality binoculars with universal magnification and good twilight illumination
  • prisms Roof
  • baK4 glass
  • the interior of the telescope is filled with nitrogen to prevent fogging
  • multiple anti-reflex layer of FMC lenses
  • iPX6 waterproof
  • quite sufficient for normal observation of game and closer distant objects
  • the quality is certainly equal to some more expensive (branded) binoculars
  • Comparison with older RU telescope Tento 10x50. Forester "looks" better thanks to new technology
  • the lens caps are "attached" to the binoculars, they do not have to be removed separately
  • if I evaluate the telescope as a forester, good for me :))
  • 8x magnification is too low for observing distant landscapes, a spotting scope is more suitable
  • or binoculars with higher magnification, preferably with a tripod
  • lens caps do not hold the lens hoods down and aperture lenses must be held on the telescope body when observing
  • it's about habit, it's not even a disadvantage
