Second generation of the Umarex HDP 50 pistol
This RAM (Real Action Marker) pistol is designed for shooting .50 cal rubber and pepper projectiles. It is an ideal self-defense tool but can also be used for training and recreational shooting.
This pistol has an alloy frame covered by a polymer layer, which significantly decreases the overall weight to only 682 g.
It's powered by one 12g CO2 cartridge, which is inserted into the grip. This model features a so-called "quick-piercing" or "emergency activation" system via the extended cartridge cap, which punctures the cartridge right before use. That means you can keep the cartridge inside for months without worrying about the compressed CO2 damaging the seals over time.
You can use .50 caliber rubber or pepper projectiles. The loading procedure is really unorthodox. The integrated magazine is placed below the barrel and has a capacity of 6 projectiles. The loading port is located behind the 22 mm Weaver rail. This model shoots projectiles with a maximum muzzle energy of 11 J depending on the projectile weight.
The Double Action Only (DAO) trigger mechanism and trigger safety allow for fast yet safe shooting.
The T4E (Training for Engagement) series of guns from the German company Umarex are an effective means of self-defense. That's why they are used by many armed forces and professionals for training. However, you don't have to be a professional to have a lot of fun with them too.
