It allows for finer adjustment of the input pressure from the cartridge, thereby enabling more stable operation of the entire pressure system of the weapon.
This secondary regulator is intended for users who want to extract maximum consistency and efficiency from the FX Impact M4 model. The previous model FX Impact M3 included 2 regulators – the first to reduce the maximum pressure in the cartridge, the second – which is less stressed – to achieve a more precise output pressure. Thanks to more balanced pressure from the cartridge, fluctuations between individual fillings are limited, and the whole system reacts more predictably. This is beneficial both for precise sports shooting and for tuning the weapon to specific ammunition. However, the Impact M4 model contains only one regulator. This is where the company Huma-Air comes in.
The main function of this component is the first stage of pressure regulation between the main cartridge and the original regulator. The tuning regulator creates a stable pressure intermediate stage, from which the main weapon regulator then draws. This leads to smoother filling of the Power Plenum and reduces fluctuations in output pressure.
The manufacturer recommends maintaining pressure on the tuning regulator at least 30 - 40 bars higher than on the original regulator. The tuning regulator can be adjusted in the range of 70 - 210 bars.
The tuning regulator extends the part with the air cartridge by 23 millimeters.
