PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Canicom 5.201 is an electronic training collar which, thanks to the strength of the correction impulses, is suitable mainly for medium and large dog breeds. The collar also emits an acoustic signal and vibrations. If the dog does not react to these, you can still use an electric stimulation impulse, which can be sent at 10 different levels. In open terrain the collar has a range of up to 200 m.
The collar significantly facilitates training and allows you not only to teach the dog, but also to eliminate unwanted habits. An electronic training collar is recommended for extremely temperamental breeds and unmanageable dogs. Thanks to the collar, your dog will obey you under any circumstances and will no longer be distracted by surrounding stimuli such as other dogs or game.
With the collar, the dog can easily and quickly learn to walk to heel without a lead, come when called and interrupt undesirable activities. You can even stop him from jumping up at people, taking food from the table or barking in the flat. The collar can correct even the smallest mistakes the dog makes in otherwise perfect exercises. It is therefore suitable not only for unmanageable dogs, but also for dogs competing at shows and for hunting dogs.
However, electric impulses should not be used lightly. They cannot physically harm the dog, but they could cause damage from a psychological point of view. The dog could then start to fear you rather than respect you as its master. Remember that there are no shortcuts to proper training, only correctly used training aids. Therefore, follow the manufacturer’s instructions provided for you on the instructional DVD.
The collar is also waterproof, so you do not need to worry if your dog jumps into water. Handling it is very simple. The collar has an orange adjustable plastic strap 68 cm long, on which the receiver is placed. The receiver also emits an acoustic signal, vibrations and electric impulses via the electrodes. The collar is equipped with electrodes for both short-haired and long-haired breeds. The receiver weighs only 85 g and is powered by a single CR2 3V battery.
The controls are also very simple. The transmitter has 9 buttons. One transmitter can be used for 2 different collars at the same time. The transmitter weighs 71 g and is powered by a single CR2450 battery. Battery life in the collar can reach up to 3 months, depending on how often it is used.
