Ultrasound blocks the Haller organ in ticks, making it impossible for them to target a potential blood source. The ultrasonic waves emitted by the device are completely inaudible and do not harm humans or pets. This provides an effective means of protecting a dog or cat from parasites.
Tickless also works on fleas and mosquitoes. Simply hang the device on the collar with a clip or lanyard. It is not recommended to cover the holes that emit ultrasonic waves. Covering or blocking the holes may lead to malfunctioning of the device. The repeller is not hazardous to health or the environment.
