Tickless tick repeller works on the principle of ultrasonic waves at a frequency of 40 kHz. Ultrasound blocks the Haller’s organ in ticks, preventing them from locating a potential blood source. The emitted ultrasonic waves are completely inaudible and harmless to people and domestic animals. Thanks to this, you get an effective means of protecting your horse against parasites.
The device only needs to be attached to the harness or saddle. It is not recommended to cover the openings that emit the ultrasonic waves. Covering or blocking the openings may lead to improper operation of the device. The repeller is not dangerous to health or the environment and does not endanger young, elderly, sick, or pregnant animals.
Its service life is from 6 to 12 months from activation.
