The leading manufacturer of professional optical devices ThermTec Outdoor presents a new series of thermal imaging spotters named Wild.
As the name suggests, these monoculars are adapted to demanding conditions in the wild. The rubberized housing is made of a magnesium alloy, and thanks to the IP67 protection rating you don’t need to worry about rain or dust, and all components can withstand temperatures from -20°C to +50°C.
Wild 335 version is equipped with a 384x288px thermal imaging core with an exceptionally high sensitivity of NETD ≤18mK (the lower the value, the more sensitive it is). In combination with a 35mm lens, you can detect a target at distances of up to 1800 metres.
The L designation means that the monocular is equipped with a laser rangefinder with a range of 1000 m, a wavelength of 905 nm and an accuracy deviation of only 1 metre. In addition, thanks to the LRF Boost technology using artificial intelligence, the device will display the distance to several targets at the same time.

The resulting image is displayed on a 50Hz AMOLED display with a resolution of 1024x768px. You can switch between 6 colour modes and, in addition to fixed optical magnification, you can further enlarge the target with a smooth digital zoom from 1x to 4x.
The device can also be paired with a smartphone via a mobile app, where you can view stored recordings, change settings or update the monocular’s firmware. And thanks to smartly positioned buttons, an ergonomic joystick and a focusing dial on the top of the tube, you can comfortably operate it with just one hand.
The power source is a single 18650 battery (2 are included in the package) providing up to 10 hours of continuous operation, which can be charged directly in the device with the supplied cable or outside the device with the supplied charger.
