The Ares riflescope is equipped with a 60mm lens, a 50Hz AMOLED display with a high resolution of 1024x768px and a smooth digital 1-5x zoom, dioptre adjustment of ±5 and a quality 12µm sensor with a resolution of 640x512px and a thermal sensitivity of NETD <35mk (the lower the value, the more sensitive it is), making it suitable even for adverse weather conditions such as rain, fog, or snow.
As one of the few thermal riflescopes, it offers variable optical magnification of 1.1x - 3.2x, which makes it easy to monitor the surroundings while still being able to zoom in on a specific target by up to three times.
Another advantage of the Ares series is the use of artificial intelligence – it can automatically calculate the target distance and above all can recognize what type of object it is – for example whether it is a person or an animal.
The thermal scope offers 6 colour palettes and 7 reticles with the option of zeroing for up to 5 different firearms, so everyone can find a suitable setup. It also naturally includes a picture-in-picture function, allowing you to zoom in on the target while maintaining awareness of the surrounding field of view.
Ares is designed for use with a mobile phone via the SmartThermal app, using both Wi-Fi and Hotspot. Thanks to the app, you can also receive alerts if an animal or person is moving within the field of view, including information about the distance. Recordings can also be stored on the integrated 16GB memory module.
Power is provided by a replaceable Li-ion 18650 or 18500 battery (not included) which allows the scope to operate continuously for up to 6 hours. A USB-C port is used for charging the device.
The robust housing with an IP67 protection rating withstands recoil up to 850G, is compatible with 30mm tube mounts, and allows operation at temperatures from -20 to 50°C.
