PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
The thermal imaging riflescope ThermTec Ares 360, which is one of the few to offer variable optical magnification, also uses artificial intelligence for distance measurement and can even recognize the type of target, which will be especially appreciated by hunters and stalkers with high demands.
The Ares riflescope is equipped with a 60mm lens, a 50Hz AMOLED display with a high resolution of 1024x768px and a smooth digital zoom of 1-5x, dioptre adjustment of ±5 and a high‑quality 12µm core with a resolution of 384x288px and thermal sensitivity of NETD <35mk (the lower the value, the more sensitive it is), making it suitable even for adverse weather conditions such as rain, fog, or snow.
As one of the few thermal imaging riflescopes, it offers variable optical magnification of 1.8x - 5.5x, which makes it easy to observe the surroundings while at the same time allowing you to zoom in three times on a specific target.
Another advantage of the Ares series is the use of artificial intelligence – it can automatically calculate the target distance and, above all, can recognize what type of object it is – for example, whether it is a human or an animal.
The thermal imager offers 6 colour palettes and 7 reticles with the option of zeroing for up to 5 different firearms, so everyone can find their preferred setup. It also naturally includes the picture-in-picture function, which lets you zoom in on the target while maintaining awareness of the surrounding field of view.
Ares is adapted for use together with a mobile phone via the SmartThermal app, using both Wi-Fi and Hotspot. Thanks to the app, you can also receive alerts if an animal or a person moves into the field of view, including its distance. Recordings can also be stored on the integrated 16GB memory module.
Power is supplied by a replaceable Li-ion 18650 or 18500 battery (not included) which allows the scope to operate continuously for up to 6 hours. A USB-C port is used for charging the device.
The rugged housing with IP67 protection withstands recoil up to 850G, is compatible with 30mm tube mounts, and allows operation at temperatures from -20 to 50°C.
