PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Machine translated

Taipan Veteran belongs among the Bullpup models, which are very popular nowadays. When you look at the workmanship of the individual parts, for example the trigger mechanism, you will see a high level of execution. In this respect, it surpasses much more expensive air rifles. The package includes two magazines, an adapter for a single‑shot loader, and a quickfill adapter.

The two main innovations of this rifle are found in the reloading area. The first is the fact that it is not possible to load a pellet twice, and therefore accidental barrel blockage cannot occur. The second concerns the barrel and the air port, which has been designed so that the pellet is not deformed.

The standard version has an overall length of 705 mm and is the best‑selling type of this rifle. This length represents the ideal balance between good handling and the size of the air cylinder.

To mount a riflescope you use a 22 mm Weaver rail, which is located in the centre of the rifle and is inclined by 20 MOA. The barrel is finished with a high‑quality moderator, which is connected to the barrel with a 1/2 UNF thread. Under the barrel itself there is a high‑capacity air container. This cylinder runs almost the entire length of the rifle and is finished with a Wika manometer. The cylinder capacity is 291 cm3.

The current pressure during filling is indicated by numbers in BAR units. In the front section there is an opening for the quickfill adapter. Cocking is done using a side‑lever mechanism that is very precise and easy to operate. The cocking lever can also be switched to the other side, which will be especially appreciated by left‑handed shooters.

The manufacturers have done a really high‑quality job on the trigger mechanism, thanks to which we can adjust the trigger pull and trigger position. There is a manual safety in front of the trigger. The beech stocks are made in Spain and finished with a beautiful rubber butt pad.

Its total weight is only 3350 g.

All Taipan air rifles are currently assembled and finished in the Czech Republic.

Practical experience: This is a very well‑made Bullpup‑style rifle. The advantage of these air rifles is the German Lothar Walther barrels. We tested it thoroughly and the shooting was very accurate. The large air cylinder provides plenty of shots. This version has a beautiful laminate stock in a black‑and‑white design. The laminate stocks are made in Italy.

Svilen Petrov, 17.09.2018
Hello, Why did you click on the link with the 6.35 mm rifle only 5.5 mm? And my second question: When you put on sale Taipan Veteran, it: 1. Is it just a laminated version? 2. Do not you plan to sell "Standard" version or just "Long"? So, will not there be anything else besides laminated version and the other two in .22 caliber?
M
Michal , 20.09.2018
Hi, There will be all models except compact in beech and laminate stock. All models will be also in .22 and .25 caliber.
