In this case, it works as an IR illuminator completely invisible to the human eye. Of course, it can also be used as a standard tactical weapon flashlight.
The flashlight is characterized by simple operation – you can switch between the standard mode (1250 lm, 320 m beam distance) and IR mode (940 nm) using a lever, and a large switch on the tail of the flashlight is used to activate the strobe. You can therefore operate it comfortably even when wearing gloves. A remote switch (cable switch) is included in the package.
For quick attachment to a firearm without using any tools, it features an integrated Picatinny / Weaver mount.
The power source is one 18650 Li-ion battery (1 pc included) or you can use 2 CR123A lithium batteries.
Despite its compact dimensions, the flashlight offers exceptional durability: thanks to a body made from aircraft-grade aluminium with an abrasion-resistant finish, it withstands a drop from up to 10 metres and immersion down to 2 metres for up to 5 hours. Without the installed remote switch it corresponds to protection rating IP68, with the switch IP67.
