PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Spray collar Dogtrace d-control 900 Aqua is an excellent alternative to classic training collars. It works on a similar principle as the classic d-control collar. When a command is disobeyed, it emits a sound signal; if the dog does not obey, it uses vibration. If the dog still does not react, no electric impulse is sent into the dog’s body, but instead an unpleasant cooling spray is sprayed towards the dog’s muzzle.
Spray collars are significantly more sensitive than their electronic versions. You do not cause the dog pain, only an unpleasant sensation. They are therefore suitable for training more sensitive dogs of all breeds. The range between the collar (receiver) and the remote (transmitter) can be up to 900 m under ideal conditions. Even though the collar is gentler than an electronic one, do not use it carelessly. It can still cause the dog to develop an aversion to training. Under no circumstances should the remote control be entrusted to small children.
The collar uses spray correction in combination with a sound signal. Even the sound produced when using the spray is a sufficient impulse for the dog to interrupt unwanted behaviour. You can send spray correction in short or long intervals. For each of these you can set a different intensity of the corrective impulse. For short intervals there are 5 levels, for long intervals there are 10 different levels. Spray refills are available with citronella and lavender aroma or without aroma. With one fill, the collar can deliver up to 300 spray corrections.
The set consists of a receiver with a blue woven strap weighing only 74 g, a transmitter with a lanyard for wearing around the neck, batteries and a spray refill with citronella scent. The transmitter with LCD display weighs 60 g and has only 8 buttons, each of which has an immediately clear function. With a single remote you can train 2 dogs with a spray collar (the second collar is not included).
