Adventure Menu Lightweight is a product range of freeze-dried meals made from 100% natural ingredients by the Czech manufacturer Adventure Menu. With the Lightweight range you save up to 80% of weight and 30% of energy. For these products you only need to add water up to the fill line inside the pouch and wait until they rehydrate again. Then you just heat them up in a pot or in a self-heating system and you have a meal on the go just like at home (and often even better).
Pikantní kotlík s bulgurem is a very filling meal that will replenish your energy and warm you up on the trail. The combination of pork leg, turkey thigh meat and bulgur provides a nutritious dish with a pleasant kick thanks to hot peppers and chilli. There is nothing like having a full main meal on a mountain ridge or on a multi-day trip in nature, especially without the hassle of making a fire and cooking. Adventure Menu has achieved the almost impossible and has added another item to the české MRE (meal ready to eat).
Pikantní kotlík contains 16% pork meat, 14% turkey meat, 13% wheat bulgur, onion, paprika sausage (pork meat, salt, paprika, cumin, garlic), bacon, mushrooms, corn and rice flour, rapeseed oil, pickled red pepper (pepper, vinegar, salt, sugar), garlic, pickled hot peppers (hot peppers, water, vinegar, salt), salt, chilli and pepper. In total you will find inside 7.6% fat, 2.6% saturated fat, 7.9% protein, 13.9% carbohydrates, 0.6% sugars and 1.3% salt. Altogether it provides 424 kcal (1,780 kJ).
The pack measures 21 x 18 x 5 cm and weighs only 122 g. Inside you will find 107 g of food. After adding water you get one full portion. The total weight of the meal will then be 400 g.
