Snowpeak T-Rex is a full-power PCP air rifle fitted with a polymer stock with a smooth surface complemented by roughened zones and cutouts at the grip points to ensure maximum stability when shooting. The stock itself features a vertically adjustable cheekpiece and a rubber buttstock. On the forearm there is a lower Picatinny rail allowing for attachment of a bipod or other shooting accessories.
The internal system is powered by compressed air stored in a standard tube-shaped cartridge with a working pressure of 250 Bar and a volume of 230cc. The cartridge is filled with a quickfill adapter compatible with a quick-disconnect which needs to be purchased separately. The current pressure level can be monitored on the pressure gauge located at the end of the cartridge. Consistent shooting results are ensured by the integrated pressure regulator.
The charging lever can be mounted on both the right and left side. The presence of the pellet in the chamber is indicated by a warning pin located on the rear of the block, highlighted in red. To increase safety, the system can be secured between shots with a manual safety integrated in the trigger guard.
The airgun is fitted with fixed sights - the rear one is vertically and horizontally adjustable. Snowpeak has also provided a Weaver/Picatinny top mounting rail for attaching a riflescope.
The accurate grooved and shrouded barrel reaches a length of 480mm and is finished with a sound moderator reducing the noise of the shot.
The rifle comes complete with spare rings, Allen wrenches, a quickfill pin and one magazine.
Note that the pressure regulator is set to 130 bar for this caliber. Please avoid dropping the pressure below this level, which could damage the internal o-rings and cause the gun to leak.
