Zulu Ultralight 1400 is a three-season sleeping bag suitable for cycle touring, hiking or bivouacking. It is ideal for campers with a body height of up to 185 cm. The inside of the sleeping bag is filled with Warmthal microfibre, which keeps you warm even with the low volume of the bag. Compared to down sleeping bags, it is not susceptible to moisture and is also suitable for allergy sufferers. In addition, if the sleeping bag does get damp, you can turn it inside out and hang it up by the loops inside the bag.
At the very bottom of the sleeping bag you will find a pocket for storing your wallet or phone. For someone to steal them, they would have to undress you from the entire sleeping bag. Once you get into the mummy-shaped sleeping bag, you can ensure maximum thermal insulation by tightening the drawcord of the collar around your neck. This way no warmth will escape.
The sleeping bag is fastened with a two-way YKK zip. You can easily close it from the inside, and on warm nights you can also open it from the foot end. The zip also allows connection with another Zulu Ultralight sleeping bag. They do not even have to be from the same series (700, 900 and 1400); you just need to make sure it is a right–left zip combination. Otherwise you cannot connect them.
The sleeping bag takes up minimal space – specifically, it forms a cylinder with a height of 34 cm and a diameter of 19 cm. It therefore fits easily into a trekking backpack or on a bike rack. You will also appreciate its low weight of 1,240 g. The total length of the sleeping bag is 230 cm. The width at the shoulders is 75 cm, and at the feet 50 cm. The outer and inner shell are made of polyester micro ripstop.
