The outer layer is made of waterproof nylon Ultralight DWR (“Durable Water Repellent” technology), the inner layer of fast-drying Micropolyester, and between them a three-layer thermal insulation with a shingle construction called BHB Micro has been used. The designation “CCS” tells us that the outer layer additionally uses Clima Control Shield technology, which prevents unwanted heat loss while ensuring balanced breathability of the sleeping bag.
All Pinguin sleeping bags use proven YKK zippers that can be opened and closed from the inside as well as from the outside. On the inside they are taped with a draft tube to prevent cold spots. And if you own a second Spirit, Micra or Topas sleeping bag with the opposite zipper, you can join them together.
