Power is provided by a small 12 g CO2 cartridge inserted into the grip. The frame of the pistol is made of durable polymer and carries a steel slide. The blowback system adds authenticity and a realistic shooting feel. The M17 also offers realistic field stripping identical to the live-fire version, making it suitable for training safe handling with a real firearm.
The magazine system is also new, derived from the MPX and MCX air rifles. Pellets are loaded into a plastic rotary belt inside the magazine. The connection of the CO2 cartridge is operated by a lever, so you do not need any Allen key or screwdriver.
Attention: insert only round-nose pellets into the magazine. Any other shape may cause jamming.
