PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
The latest and smallest model from ScoutGuard, which now also offers a menu in Czech language. The new PIR sensor detects motion up to 15 metres. An improvement over previous models is the delay setting, now adjustable in steps from 5 seconds up to 60 minutes. Operation is very simple using three buttons, which are used to switch on, enter the menu, take photos manually, and switch off. Thanks to the LCD screen you can aim the trail camera precisely at the desired spot.
Model SG520 PRO W is, compared to its cheaper version, equipped with a Wi-Fi function. The package includes a remote control with which you activate the network and can connect with your mobile phone to download the required images.
Power is supplied by standard 1.5V AA batteries. The batteries and SD card are easily accessible, so you do not need to dismount the camera to replace them.
Daylight image quality is at a high level. Model SG520 PRO has also received new LED diodes, which improve image quality at dusk and in the dark. The diodes are able to illuminate up to a distance of 10 metres.
The trail camera also offers a video option. This is intended rather for informational purposes, to see what is happening around. For higher quality video recordings we recommend the Forestcam series.
Our experience: An excellent trail camera for all enthusiasts. It is suitable for monitoring game or securing properties.
