PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
The Sawyer S1 Foam Filter bottle allows you to drink clean water in any situation. The foam filter removes almost all impurities found in fresh water and at the same time improves its taste and smell. Sawyer systems combine a patented foam membrane in a durable silicone bottle with a capacity of 0.6 litres with a hollow-fibre filter with a pore size of 0.1 microns, which provides a supply of clean water when travelling around the world or in emergency situations.
This model is compatible with water filters Sawyer SP129 Squeeze, SP128 Mini and SP2129 Micro-Squeeze. We recommend filling and drying the bottle only through the smaller opening to which the Sawyer filter is attached. If you remove the reducer cap, it must be resealed before you can use the bottle again. If you do not do this, unfiltered water may pass through and contaminate your drinking water!
The S1 filtration system removes bacteria, protozoa, cysts, chemicals and pesticides from water. The filter has a service life of 1600 uses. Its only potential weakness is its sensitivity to frost. If the filter is wet and freezes, the filter membranes may be damaged and filtration will become ineffective.
The bottle is 25 cm long and its diameter is 6.5 cm.
