Filtration Bottle Sawyer Personal Water Bottle 1l

Durable plastic bottle from the American water filter manufacturer Sawyer. Inside it hides a Sawyer Mini water filter, which can be easily removed so you can use it in the standard way in combination with a collapsible bottle, a PET bottle or as a gravity filter. 

The bottle itself weighs 180 g and has a capacity of 950 ml. It is fitted with a flip-top cap and contains no BPA. It is 273 mm high and has a diameter of 80 mm.

Sawyer Mini is a very simple filtration system with an enormous service life, capable of filtering up to 378,000 l of water. The PointONE Technology used by this filter has an absolute pore size of 0.1 microns. Thanks to this it filters out 99.99999% of all harmful bacteria such as salmonella, cholera and E. coli. We recommend filtering only water without solid particles such as sand or mud. Otherwise the filter would clog unnecessarily and you would have to clean it more often.

Its only potential weakness is its sensitivity to frost. If the filter is wet and freezes, it may crack or otherwise be damaged. In that case we no longer recommend using it.
